Clinical Rotations
Over the course of the clinical year, every student is required to successfully complete 7 core clinical experiences, 2 additional electives, and a capstone course that all align with our primary care-focused curriculum. These include: Psychiatry/Behavioral Health, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health. The majority of sites are in the 7-county metro area but some are in greater Minnesota as well as the surrounding 5 state region. Students can expect at least one rural clinical placement.
